Applied Behaviour

Analysis

What is ABA?

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) uses teaching techniques that have been developed through years of research

(Lovaas, ‘87, Mecachin et al, ‘93 and Remmington et al, 2007)

and have proven extremely effective in teaching children with autism and neurodiversity.

The approach focuses on the acquisition of new, age appropriate skills and the reduction of inappropriate behaviours.
The main technique is the use of reinforcementand extensively rewarding the child’s appropriate behaviour.

About Us

Our mission

Our mission is to teach children who are neurodiverse (including, but not limited to, children with Autism) the skills they need to learn effectively from the environment around them.

We do this by assessing the child’s specific needs and challenges. We teach and reinforce appropriate behaviours using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) on an ongoing basis. You will be able to see how your child is benefiting and where their specific needs are throughout the program.

It is so important to us that we work as a team with the parents and caregivers. This is a journey for everyone involved in supporting and raising each child.

At Daisy Chain, our aim is to enrich the lives and facilitate a successful future for each child and their families.

What we offer

We provide a comprehensive range of services for children and

young adults with Autism and related developmental needs.

Our primary goal is to ensure we help every one of our students to reach their full potential by addressing their unique and complex educational needs.

We do this by harnessing our vast experience and network of Consultants and Tutors and to provide a bespoke programme offering high quality 1:1 teaching to meet your child’s

specialist educational requirements.

We work closely with parents, educators and other professionals to achieve our goal and
